ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Maria — a mum of two, a former primary school teacher from Moldova, and the person behind the camera at Ma Vie Photography.
Photography has always been a passion of mine. I’ve always loved capturing beautiful, meaningful, and aesthetic moments — the little details that often become our most treasured memories. After becoming a mum, that passion naturally grew into something more than a hobby and turned into a career I truly love.
My background in teaching means I’m very comfortable working with children and understand that every child is unique. Whether they’re full of energy, a little shy, or simply off on their own little adventure, I always aim to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for the whole family.
I’m lucky to have my own cosy little studio in Peterborough (PE1) — a warm and welcoming space where we can create beautiful memories all year round. And when the weather is kind to us, I love heading outdoors to explore beautiful locations, chase golden light, and capture genuine moments.
For your convenience, I can communicate in English, Romanian, and Russian, helping you feel comfortable and understood throughout your photography experience.
